Press release: NetDoktor.com completes powerhouse management team
(COPENHAGEN) March 30, 2000 - The final touches have been added to the impressive team of professionals behind Europe's largest Internet health service, NetDoktor.com.
Together, the nine professionals comprise some of the best brains available in the market with solid track records from respected companies like McKinsey, Siemens, Simon & Shuster, Toshiba, DDB Needham and Oxford University Press.

This team ensures our continued success and high standard of on-line health service," said Mikael Vissing, CEO NetDoktor.com and a former Internet Strategy Consultant and former advisor to the Foreign Affairs Department at the European Commission.
The top-rate management team behind NetDoktor now includes Jim Donohue, Senior Vice-President and Managing Director for NetDoctor UK. Donohue, who started his career in the US, has almost 20 years in the publishing business, worked for the website MD Consult in the USA and was the President of the European operations of Simon and Schuster. Donohue also has a management background from Times Mirror Group and Oxford University Press.
Markus A. Kirchgeorg, a trained physician and former Vice-President of Marketing at Siemens Ultrasound in Seattle, Washington, is NetDoktor's Senior Vice-President and Managing Director for Germany and Austria. His work history also includes McKinsey & Company, Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Medical Tribune.
Martin Roll, Chief Marketing Officer, was an account director for two of the world's leading advertising agencies, Bates and DDB Needham, where he lead marketing initiatives for Ericsson and McDonalds before joining NetDoktor.com and the company's US born Director of Business Development, Steve Martin, includes an initiative with the White House in his portfolio.
The latest and final addition to NetDoktor.com is Philip Whitecross, a well-regarded finance developer from London. Whitecross, who serves both as a CFO and COO, has a proven track record in developing financial strategies for companies like Crockfords and Copyrights Promotion and turning them into major pan-European players.

NetDoktor's management team also includes Niels Carlsen, Chief Technology Officer, formerly Siemens; Morten Nielsen, Director of Corporate Development, formerly Toshiba; Lars Hansen, Financial Manager, formerly Tele Denmark and co-founders, Rune Bech, journalist and former London Bureau Chief for Denmark's leading Politiken newspaper and Dr. Carl Brandt, distinguished doctor and research fellow from The University Hospital of Odense.
