How to Buy - Linux > Host-id Linux
The host-id of a PC running Linux is a unique number that
identifies the computer. This ID is based on the network card of the PC, and it is
therefore essential
that the network card is not changed after a license is issued.
To determine the host-id you should do the following:
-
Run Mvox (installed in demo mode) using the command
mvox -sys
-
From the output of this command copy the Hex host-id (0x462f1897)
to your order to Anamedic.
