CapMan
is one of the leading private equity houses in Scandinavia advising funds
with a total of EUR 3 billion and employing around 100 professionals. CapMan
started out in Finland, but has since expanded to Sweden, Denmark and
Norway.
I
was an Investment Director in the Nordic Life Sciences Business Unit of CapMan
from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 I reduced my commitment to CapMan to become a
part-time Venture Partner with a focus
on medtech deal flow in Denmark, Southern Sweden
and Northern Europe.
In
addition to my general responsibilities in the investment team, I was
also:

Instrumental
in developing new Europe-focused strategy for CapMan Life Science,

Co-responsible
for fund raising for new EUR 54 million venture fund, including
writing of prospectus and presentation material. Participated in
numerous meetings with international fund investors,

Responsible
for marketing CapMan Life Sciences towards European co-investors and
start-up companies.
