Registration of medical images

In this project I implemented a range of different methods for
medical image registration:
- Marker-based rigid- and non-rigid registration (implemented in Mvox).
- Rigid registration using voxel similarity measures. I have
implemented all the similarity measures currently described in the
literature in addition to some new ones.
- Elastic registration using linear elastic material models.
- Fluid registration using image convolution.
Claus Gramkow worked with me on the elastic and fluid registration
during his M.Sc. thesis work, and implemented these methods.
Below is shown a classic example of fluid registration, where a
circle is transformed into a 'C'.
