MSc thesis now online
I still get requests for copies of my MSc thesis from 1992. It is kind of flattering to know that researchers around the world still like to read it after 15 years.
Since the library, at the institute where it was published, does not have any paper copies left, I decided to find my old paper copy in the attic and scan it into the computer. It can now be found online here.

CytoTrack in the final of the European Venture Contest
CytoTrack, the company that I am assisting in fund raising, has been selected for the final of the European Venture Contest in Barcelona (see http://www.europeanventureinstitute.eu/Session/Barcelona/Finalists)
I kind of expected it after the informal feedback that I received after the semifinal in Brussels in October, where I presented the company. We have a compelling story. The technology has the potential to help a large group of metastatic cancer patients, who often have to endure terrible side effects from chemotherapy treatment, for which only between 20% and 50% actually respond. And the potential market is significant and could reach EUR 650 million in the long term.
The final takes place in Barcelona on my birthday, 10 December. Watch this page for news of how we do in the final.
